TERMS OF USE
Small PDFs. Plain terms.
These terms apply when you use PDF Shrink Ray. Please keep your original PDF and check every downloaded result before relying on it.
Effective 15 August 2026
About the service
PDF Shrink Ray is provided by Architecture Social Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 10430707 at 1 Fore St Ave, Barbican, London EC2Y 9DT.
The service compresses and inspects PDFs locally in a supported browser. Your PDF is not uploaded to us. You are responsible for your device, browser and internet connection.
Results and limitations
We do not guarantee that every PDF will become smaller or meet a particular target. Some PDFs are already efficient, use unsupported image encodings, contain signatures, forms or complex artwork, or would require unacceptable visual changes. The service may refuse such files or return no result.
Compression can change image quality. Keep the original, open the downloaded file and check its pages, text, links, forms and images before sending, publishing or archiving it.
Your files and acceptable use
You keep all rights in your files. You must have the right to process them and must not use the service for unlawful, harmful, abusive or security-testing activity that disrupts the service or other people.
Do not rely on PDF Shrink Ray as the only copy, an archival preservation system, a digital-signature tool or a substitute for professional document checking.
Allowances and accounts
Free allowances, file-size caps and product features are shown on the service and may change reasonably as the product develops. Anonymous limits are a lightweight browser control. Account access, if enabled, is personal to you and you are responsible for keeping it secure.
Paid features
Founding Plus is not available for purchase unless the service clearly presents a live checkout. Preview prices and test checkout screens are not an offer to sell a subscription and cannot make a live charge.
Before any paid purchase, the checkout will show the price, billing period and applicable cancellation terms. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or withdraw all or part of this early service, including to fix security or reliability problems. We aim to make it useful and accurate but provide it without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by failing to keep an original, not checking an output, using an unsupported document or relying on the service for a purpose it is not designed for. We do not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts with mandatory consumer jurisdiction remain available where applicable. Questions can be sent to support@architecturesocial.com.
